Krafton has launched Battlin, a new esports platform designed to help Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) players discover tournaments, register for competitions and track their results. The platform aims to make competitive gaming more accessible by bringing tournament discovery, scheduling and reward distribution together in one place.

The launch comes with Battlin Open Season 1, featuring a combined prize pool of ₹20 lakh and more than 5,000 available slots. The tournament also provides an opportunity for aspiring teams to qualify for the Battlegrounds India Series (BGIS).

What is Krafton’s Battlin platform?

Battlin is designed to simplify tournament participation for players and event management for organisers. Users can discover competitions, follow match schedules and track results through a central platform.

Gaming creators, colleges, gaming cafés and community organisers can also use Battlin to host tournaments and manage registrations. The platform aims to improve transparency by displaying competition details and reward information.

Battlin Open Season 1: Prize pool and dates

The inaugural tournament is scheduled to take place from November 2 to November 29, 2026. Registrations are set to close on November 1.

Key tournament details include:

  • Total prize pool: ₹20 lakh

  • Available slots: More than 5,000

  • Registration deadline: November 1, 2026

  • Tournament dates: November 2–29, 2026

  • BGIS opportunity: One competition track offers a qualification slot for the series.

The tournament’s two tracks feature prize pools of ₹5 lakh and ₹15 lakh, respectively. This gives players different competitive routes while connecting the platform’s launch with India’s established BGMI esports ecosystem.

How Battlin could benefit Indian esports players

Finding organised tournaments can be difficult for emerging teams that lack connections with established esports organisers. By bringing competitions together on one platform, Battlin could help players discover more opportunities to compete and build experience.

The service could also make it easier for colleges and gaming communities to organise events. Its long-term impact will depend on player participation, the availability of tournaments and the quality of the competition experience.

Krafton is also expanding its mobile gaming reach in India with BGMI Air, which has crossed 10 million pre-registrations ahead of its launch. Together, these developments highlight the company’s efforts to reach more Indian players through mobile gaming and competitive esports.

Players interested in participating should check the official platform for eligibility requirements, tournament rules and registration instructions before signing up.
