Riot Games has officially revealed Hush, the newest Duelist agent coming to VALORANT, introducing a character with telekinetic powers and abilities designed to disrupt enemy positions. The reveal arrived on October 18, 2026, during the VALORANT Champions Shanghai grand final celebrations. Hush is scheduled to join the game on October 27 in the Americas and October 28 in other regions.
Hush brings telekinetic powers to VALORANT
Hush is Agent 31 by designation and the game’s 30th playable agent, as Agent 8 remains unrevealed. She is a Duelist from Guangdong, China, and becomes the ninth agent in the role. Her cinematic trailer, titled “RISE AND FALL,” showcases her manipulating objects, moving weapons and using unusual movement techniques to surprise enemies.
The trailer offers an early look at her fighting style, while Riot’s announcement introduces her as a new addition to the game’s competitive roster. Her abilities could give aggressive players additional ways to enter contested areas and disrupt opponents.
Hush’s abilities focus on disruption and movement
Hush’s kit combines mobility, flashes and crowd control. Her passive ability, Telekinesis, allows her to pick up dropped weapons and the Spike and interact with switches from an increased distance.
Her signature ability, Displacement, launches a projectile that pulls players towards its centre and can concuss them when they collide with a surface or another player. Flashbulb gives her another way to blind opponents, while Flow lets her create an anchor and propel herself towards it after a short delay.
Her ultimate, Suspension, sends out a steerable projectile that can lift players caught within its area into the air. These abilities could help Hush create openings for herself and her teammates, although her overall competitive impact will depend on how players use her kit.
Release date and competitive impact
Hush arrives on October 27 in the Americas and October 28 in other regions, according to reporting by Dot Esports and EGamersWorld. Her introduction adds another option for players who prefer aggressive, entry-focused gameplay.
However, her abilities alone do not guarantee that she will become a dominant pick in ranked matches or professional competition. Players will need time to understand her mechanics, learn effective combinations and develop strategies against her.
With her launch approaching, Hush is likely to attract attention from VALORANT players looking for new gameplay opportunities. Her combination of telekinesis, mobility and crowd control makes her one of the notable additions to the game’s agent roster this season.
